Baby's Bottom, on port tack, comes into a
(buoys-to-port) windward mark on the port tack layline. He reaches the
two-length circle ahead of Diaper Rush
coming on starboard. He tacks at the mark but his crew forgets to bring the
jib over.
Because
Baby's Bottom is now moving very slowly,
Diaper Rush bears away to avoid hitting Baby's Bottom but is now no longer able to
avoid hitting the mark. Diaper Rush
protests under rule 18.3.
