Luckily for us,
a nice 4 to 6 knots of SSW breeze soon sprang up and
carried us comfortably towards Smith. How nice to a be
in a Wayfarer where we could ignore the channel (see
our track in red) and simply let our
centreboard hitting the sandy bottom tell us when
things were getting a bit too shallow.
