| Saturday afternoon: the Obelix'
sail/drift: After heaving to for the best part of a cool hour in 12 to
15-knot NW winds, waiting for some other W's to come out and possibly
sail up the Gaastmeer, we (Jim and Maribeth Fletcher, Julia and I) gave
up. We had a nice sail to about the bottom left-hand corner of the map
above and then got cold enough to head for home. ..... |
