Sailing History: Toby started racing on the River Deben at Waldringfield (UK) when he was 10 years old.  Moved through various racing classes at the club (Cadet, OK, Laser, Lark) and took up the Wayfarer about 10 years ago.  He also races an RS400 (2 person lean-out asymmetric).  Likes to do 2 or 3 of the open championships in the Wayfarer each year, keeping the RS400 for weekend racing and local open meetings.
Sailing History: Rachael started racing aged 9 years old, crewing in a Lark with her Dad.  She continued crewing in Larks at Waldringfield, then took up other classes as well -  RS400, and occasional forays helming a Laser. She has also won races in the Dart nationals at Falmouth (UK).  She has sailed with Toby for the last two seasons in Wayfarer open meetings.
When not sailing: Works for a software company (Oracle) and does a fair number of short business trips around Europe.  Toby manages to work at home a few days each week, where he can enjoy the fantastic scenic views of the River Deben at Waldringfield whilst doing his emails.  In winter he forgets about sailing and concentrates on indulging his other passion – skiing.
When not sailing: Student (Sports Science) at Chichester (UK).  Rachael enjoys playing netball as a member of the Suffolk county team.
