Sailing History:
Bob began his sailing career at age 38 in a very active Laser fleet at Fanshawe Lake where many friendships and great competitive sailing experiences were frequent.  Racing the Laser until 1995, Bob then chose to 'move up' to a larger, slightly less active boat in "Prélude" - a Mark I Wayfarer which he has been tinkering with ever since.

Experience:
2003 Canadian Nationals - 4th (Most Improved Trophy)
2003 Pumpkin Regatta - 4th (Most Improved Trophy)
2003 Around the Island, Toronto - 3rd

Sailing History:  Drew began sailing at the tender age of 12, taking lessons in the two-man Laser II at the Lake of The Woods Yacht Club, located in Kenora, Ontario.  After completing White Sail I, II and III in a Laser II, Drew was able to acquire a Laser which he still sails today at his family cottage on Lake of The Woods.  He hadn't set foot in a Wayfarer before August 2003 when Bob invited him to participate in the Fanshawe Yacht Club's annual Pumpkin regatta.

Work:
a retired music teacher, hence the name Prélude, Bob also enjoys woodworking and spent much of his years as a teacher developing a complete shop.
Hobbies: Now, lathe work, inlay for furniture and wood shows are a common activity.  Also, with more time, he is an active member of the Kiwanis Club, conducts the London Concert Band and sings in the First St. Andrews Church choir.

"I look forward to seeing you all 'on the line' in the 2004 Canadian Wayfarer Worlds."

Work: Drew has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and currently works for 3M Canada.  He is returing to school in the fall of 2004 to complete his Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Hobbies:  Drew is an avid golfer and spends most of his free time on the golf course grooving his swing during the summer months.  A former varsity athlete for the McGill Redmen football team, he still enjoys tossing the 'pig skin' and plays hockey twice a week in the winter months.  He can also be found deep in the woods year round hunting and on the water in the summer fishing.
