Sailing History: Have sailed all my life. Started to race in Canada in 1965 and won the Zenith N.A. championship. Then 5-0-5 with good successes for 7 years followed by some racing in Sharks and Quarter Tonners. In Wayfarers, Heider has won Canadian and North American championships. Tied Uncle Al for the N.A. championship in 2003.
Sailing History: Tom used to collect sailboats but his fleet is now down to two boats: a Wayfarer (600) and a J-24. Tom has been sailing the Wayfarer for over 20 years and is a mainstay of the very strong TSCC Wayfarer fleet where he helms and crews with great success.
