Sailing History: Peter started sailing with his father in 1972 on the family CL 16.  In the 2nd year of sailing the duo won the Canadian Championships without the use of a spinnaker.    During the teen years Peter raced on anything he could sail on.   Peter crewed for André Laframboise in the 1980 Worlds placing 6th right behind Al SchÖnborn.  Then, in 1994, Peter purchased his own Wayfarer and started to sail with Alex.  In 2000, they rebuilt W286.  The two love to sail with the other Canadian teams and have many fond memories of all the events attended over the last 10 years.
Sailing History: Alex started sailing when he was 7 years old at the local sailing school on Lake St Francis, Ontario.  The next year he started to sail with Peter (father) on the family CL 16.  Which was the same boat Peter had sailed with his father!  At the tender age of 9, Alex was introduced to Wayfarer sailing and was the youngest to sail at the 1995 World Championships.  Since then and gaining precious weight he has been able to master putting the spinnaker pole onto the mast without standing on the centerboard trunk!  Alex now is instructing Peter in which direction to go while out on the race course....well, some of the time.
