Friday: The
wave action finally woke even Uncle Al around dawn. As predicted, the
wind had swung to the NW and was blowing at a nice little clip - good
news since we were looking at a run of nearly 50 nautical miles to our
finish line at Manistee. Further good news was that unlike previously
announced, we were able to finish right in the harbour at Manistee
rather than going another tortuous mile or two inland to the campground
as the paddlers did.
